What a trail is
A SpeedRunners trail is a stack of layers - a ribbon stretched along the runner's path, a particle emitter throwing copies of a picture, or a sprite riding along - each fading, tapering, spinning, waving as told. Some layers only show at superspeed (or only outside it). The game's trail editor (main menu › Trails) saves them as .srt files; that is what you upload here and what the previews read.
