After downloading

  1. Download and extract

    Download the latest DART zip and extract the whole folder somewhere permanent, for example Documents\DART. Do not run it from inside the zip.

  2. Run installer.bat once

    Close SpeedRunners 2 (and exit Steam from the tray if the installer asks), then double-click installer.bat. It patches the game once — this takes a few seconds and only ever has to be done one time.

  3. Play from Steam

    Launch SpeedRunners 2 normally from Steam. In-game, press F2 to open the DART menu; the "DART" tab also appears in the main-menu bar.

Requirements

  • SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed on Steam (store page)
  • Windows 10/11, or Linux / Steam Deck through Proton
  • Internet access for the auto-updater and the Discord features (outbound TCP 27845 to the bot)
  • A Discord account only if you want ranked, tournaments and global boards

Antivirus flagged the download? DART.exe is an unsigned .NET program that rewrites files inside another game's folder, which some scanners judge by behaviour. Windows Defender reports it clean. See troubleshooting for the allow-list steps.
